Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Marine Supplies. If you are not satisfied, please review our policy below regarding returns and refunds.

Change of Mind
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy from the date of receipt, provided the item is:

  • In its original, resalable condition.
  • Unused, in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
  • Accompanied by the original proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).

Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. Once the returned item is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will issue a refund to your original payment method, excluding the initial shipping charges. Please allow time for the refund to be processed back to your account.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact our customer support team immediately upon receipt. We will require details of the fault and, where possible, photos or video to assist in the assessment. We will arrange a solution for you, which may include a replacement, repair, or refund, including any associated return shipping costs. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned unless faulty. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Electronics and electrical items once opened or used (unless faulty).
  • Special order or custom-made products.
  • Items that have been used, installed, or altered from their original condition.
  • Software, DVDs, or media that has been opened.

How to Initiate a Return
To start a return process, please contact our customer support team. You will need to provide your order number and details about the product and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the return authorization process and provide the correct return instructions. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Return Shipping & Inspection
You are responsible for the item until it is received at our designated returns warehouse. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service for your protection. All returned items will be inspected upon receipt. Refunds or replacements will be processed only after this inspection is completed successfully.

Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution’s processing times. Please note that shipping charges are only refunded in cases where the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or faulty item).

Warranties
Many products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the specific product documentation for warranty terms and conditions. Warranty claims should be directed through our customer support team in the first instance.

This policy is designed to ensure a fair and efficient returns process. Your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law are not limited by this policy.
